Safety hints about fatal work accident that happened in Tuen Mun on 1 December 2025

In response to the fatal accident that happened on 1 December 2025, in which a male worker was suspected to have been struck by a hard object ejected from a mobile appliance, the LD calls on duty holders to take suitable safety measures to prevent workers from being struck by a hard object, including:

• regularly cleaning the crawlers of the appliances,
• thoroughly clearing hard objects from roadways; and
• maintaining a safe distance from workers while the appliances are moving.
