Safety hints about a fatal work accident that happened in Fanling on 6 May 2025

In response to the fatal accident that happened on 6 May 2025 involving scaffolding work, the LD appeals to duty holders to take suitable safety measures, including:

• providing every worker engaged in the work with an appropriate safety harness that is attached continuously to a suitable and secure anchor point, an independent lifeline or a fall arresting system; and
• ensuring the proper use of the safety equipment by workers concerned throughout the work.
