Safety hints about a fatal work accident that happened in Sheung Shui on 23 December 2024

In response to the fatal accident that happened on 23 December 2024, the LD appeals to duty holders to:

• securely stack goods, especially loose ones, on lorries, including by means of robust racks, to prevent them from displacing or falling during handling; and
• appoint a competent supervisor to supervise the handling of goods on site to ensure that the risk of goods displacement and falling is effectively eliminated.
