Labour Department 80th Anniversary Commemorative Stamp Pack

2026 marks the 80th Anniversary of the establishment of the Labour Department (LD) and the tripartism of the Labour Advisory Board (LAB). To commemorate this grand occasion, LD has commissioned Hongkong Post to produce the “Labour Department 80th Anniversary Commemorative Stamp Pack” (the Stamp Pack) to showcase the development journey of LD and LAB.

The cover of the Stamp Pack features the logo of the Labour Department against the backdrop of Victoria Harbour. This symbolises the department's unremitting efforts over the past 80 years in safeguarding employment rights and benefits, maintaining harmonious labour relations, fostering employment, and promoting a culture of occupational safety and health, thereby contributing to the prosperity and stability of Hong Kong. The back page of the Stamp Pack lists a chronology of major events for the LD and LAB, highlighting the key milestones in their historical development.

In addition, the Stamp Pack includes 12 “Year of the Horse” local postage stamps. Next to each stamp is a meticulously selected photograph showcasing the major work areas, key policies, and flagship activities of LD.

Building on existing strengths, LD will continue to promote the development of labour matters in Hong Kong and strive to become a leading labour administrator in the region.
