PLEDGE EFFECTIVE
MONITORING The
Commissioner for Labour will monitor performance against the pledge and publish
our achievements annually in the department's website. A
Customer Liaison Group (CLG) has been formed to collect feedback from users of
the department's pledged services. A new Group will be formed every two years.
The CLG is chaired by the Deputy Commissioner for Labour (Labour Administration)
with members coming from users of various pledged services. In 2007, members gave
valuable advice and suggestions for improvement and expressed satisfaction with
the standard of service. SERVICE

acts as the application office of the Supplementary Labour Scheme (SLS). It processes
employers' applications for importation of workers under the SLS, provides employment

under the SLS, enforces the terms and conditions of the SLS through complaint
investigation and publicity on the rights and obligations of imported workers

Health Service
