Agreement on Labour between Hong Kong, China and the Member States of the European Free Trade Association

The Agreement on Labour between Hong Kong, China and the Member States of the European Free Trade Association (Agreement) signed in June 2011 was concluded separately from but alongside the Free Trade Agreement between Hong Kong, China and the Member States of the European Free Trade Association, namely, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland. Entering into force on 1 October 2012 (with Iceland, Liechtenstein and Switzerland) and 1 November 2012 (with Norway), the Agreement establishes a set of shared labour principles and provides a sound basis for communication on labour matters of common interest.
