Protection of Wages on Insolvency Fund Board

The Protection of Wages on Insolvency Fund Board is established under the Protection of Wages on Insolvency Ordinance, Chapter 380.

Functions

To administer the Protection of Wages on Insolvency Fund;
To make recommendations to the Chief Executive with respect to the rate of Business Registration Certificate levy; and
To perform such other duties as are imposed or other powers as are conferred on it by the Protection of Wages on Insolvency Ordinance.

Information on the Board

A report on the activities of the Board is published annually. According to section 13 of the Protection of Wages on Insolvency Ordinance, the annual report is required to be tabled at the Legislative Council.
