5.    Committee on Occupational Safety and Health

Terms of Reference

The committee is established to :

  1. review the standards of occupational safety and health in Hong Kong; 

  2. advise on legislative proposals on occupational safety and health and review existing legislation; and 

  3. advise on the measures to be adopted by the Labour Department with a view to improving the existing system which enforces occupational safety and health legislation.
