Rights
and Duties of Trade Union Members
Independence
of Trade Unions
Trade unions should not be subject to any interference from employers
in their establishment, functioning or administration. In particular,
employers should not attempt to establish, dominate or control the administration
or functioning of a trade union of employees through financial or other
means. Trade union members should report such interference from employers
to the Executive Committee or approach the Registry of Trade Unions if
necessary.
