Labour Relations Division provides voluntary conciliation service for the non-government sector and advises on matters relating to conditions of employment and the Employment Ordinance.   Workplace Consultation Promotion Division promotes Employment Ordinance and good people management practices, as well as encourages effective communication, consultation and voluntary negotiation between employers and employees.   Registry of Trade Unions registers trade unions and organises educational courses for unionists.   Minor Employment Claims Adjudication Board adjudicates employment claims involving not more than 10 claimants for a sum of money not exceeding HK$8,000 per claimant.
